Talks

If you still have your camera on automatic, have you ever wondered what great pictures you could be taking by using other features on the camera. I run a series of courses aimed at the enthusiastic amateur. The idea is to keep things simple and explain in basic terms how to turn your camera off automatic and start using the features such as aperture, shutter speed, ISO & white balance. These are covered over a period of time with simple exercises during events and walks.

Walks

The most important thing about photography is taking pictures. So once we have spent a short time going through the basics, then we go out and practice. We can use our local surroundings, out and about or at home. We are not a keep fit club so the walks will be based on various aspects of photography, but with added benefit of fresh air. They are usually local and of course weather dependant.

Events

The best way to see improvement is to compare your images with others within your own group. We will run small competitions either on line or as a group. There will also be visits, as a group, where you can learn from each other and improve your photography.

You will move from just taking pictures to creating great images!

Due to the current Covid-19 situation most activities are on hold.

Details on restarting will be in our newsletter.
